Be quiet. Malcolm is a naturally quiet man, and to Hoshi quietness is the most beautiful thing. Also, those bloody ship walls are way too thin.

2. Who has prettier hair

Oh, well, that is a toughie. I'd actually say it's Malcolm :D

3. What they argue about most often

Hoshi always wants to talk and Malcolm never wants to.

4. Who'd cope best if the other one died

I'm not sure, actually. I'm leaning towards saying Malcolm but that's probably just because he wouldn't let anyone see how much it broke him. Hoshi on the other hand... has a hidden reservoir of strength she could draw on. Mh...

5. The happiest plausible happily-ever-after I can think of for them.

I can't really see them on Earth. Hoshi alone maybe but Malcolm? Not so much. And together... they'd want to keep exploring, even with a family, at least for a time. Maybe they'll settle down then, but on a different planet. Yes, I think I can see that.
