Okay you know what? I think I need to assign you some homework while I'm gone (and yes you will get rewarded for it). Charlie is a tough nut to crack but then again so are a LOT of your characters I've noticed. I mean look at the Farmkids and how they hand out teeny bits of info at the weirdest times.
