Even MORE daily useless rambling
Yep, it's a collection of daily meaningless rambling...
- 00:02 OMG. Know the lyrics to "All I want for Christmas (Is You)" by heart. That's not a good thing, is it? #
- 00:58 Meh. Have this great hurt/comfort PAS-story I'm dying to post. But I have to do this big epic Lorne psycho!whump piece before that. *sighs #
- 15:07 OK, that was the 2nd time Scott neglected his duty for screwing around with a woman. Can I please have someone kick his ass for that? #SGU #
- 16:40 You know I start to get the feeling that TJ is about 100 times more of an officer than Scott is. Or maybe I'm just a bitter feminist :P #SGU #
- 16:45 Oh, and Mr. Mallozzi... Chloe/Scott out of nowhere isn't "show and tell" it's astronomically bad writing #fail. Just so you know. #SGU #
- 17:16 THANKS so much for telling Eli to stop acting like a goddamm kid, Rush! You have my undying love right in this moment! #SGU #
- 17:18 Best dialogue of "Water" so far: TJ: "And Sergeant... No. Torching." Greer: "Yes, MA'AM." - Feel like working on something TJ/Greer now... #
- 18:38 I don't believe this. Halloween kids standing in front of my door. This is fucking GERMANY, you brats! We don't do trick or treat here! #
- 19:08 Yay, they let TJ catch the aliens, not one of the guys. I see light @ the end of the tunnel (& it's hopefully not the oncoming train)! #SGU #
- 23:40 Good news for all my Twiniverse-fans: @mackenziesmomma and I just had a little bunny bouncing session and came up with a few fresh ideas... #

I had no idea that there was no Halloween and trick or treating in costumes in Germany! Is that true for everywhere? Is it a US thing? Who knew. I haven't gotten trick or treaters in easily fifteen years. Living in the wrong neighborhoods, etc. Of course now I'm in a gated community so definitely no trick or treaters.

Indeed, for a very long time there used to be no trick or treat here. The holiday wasn't even called Halloween (and officially still isn't) but Reformationstag (Reformation Day, referring to Luther) and means a day off for everyone living in protestant federal states. The catholic ones get Allerheiligen (All Hallows) on November 1st. The only people that don't get either off are those living in Berlin because Berlin is a profane Prussian federal state that doesn't even force school children to take religious study classes ;) So yes, it's a US thing and a prime example for the effects of mass media in a globalized world ;)
