Author's Notes: This story... is probably the hardest Fanfic100 piece I wrote yet, mainly because it's just too close to home in a way (and yes, I leave you now to speculate what exactly home is in this case ;)). It's defintely not a happy story, at least for Lorne/Cadman shippers. It also was mackenziesmomma's (brilliant, I might add) idea to challenge me with writing a story where... oh, you'll see what I mean and she really made me push my limits and confront some issues with it (see, that's why I love my beta: She strives very hard to make me give my best with each and every story. And everything else I'll probably better keep for the A/N to the last story ;)).

Oh, oh, oh, also: Am now in the one-digit area again (i.e. I have exactly 9 (NINE) story left to write and then I'm done with writing Fanfic100)! Yay!
