But. I'm working on it. Wrote the biggest part of

sgteam14283's prompt for Dec 27 and have an idea for

pingulotta's prompt for Dec 28 (it's pretty much complete, I just have to write it) and am very much looking forward to writing

mackenziesmomma's prompt for Dec 29. I'm so sorry to say that I'm still a little clueless about what exactly to write for

hanseatic_keks's prompt for Dec 30 and have far too many diffuse ideas for

apinkpanthress's prompt for Dec 31. But I'm getting there. Mühsam ernährt sich das Eichhörnchen (it's a German saying... something about a squirrel and subsisting with a lot of effort... no, you don't have to understand it) and all that.

Also! Christmas cards! You guys! I forgot to mention that I got one from

Okay, today? No fic. At least not until I got it done. ~~This is kinda like a placeholder and will be replaced with a story once the story for today was written (and, in the best of cases, betaed).~~ I'll give you a note when I posted it,

sgteam14283. I hope this is the only story I don't finish on time and that I get back into the groove but I honestly can't make any promises. Also, next year... I most certainly will not post it only two and half months before Christmas. In fact, I will post the meme for 2012 on Jan 1 2012 and try to write the stories over the course of the year. Yes.

PS.: This is the last time ever I'll work between Christmas and New Year's Eve, if it's not absolutely necessary (meaning, should I be so lucky as to wear a uniform again and serve as a soldier, firefighter, cop or medic (which I don't believe but let's never say never), working between Christmas and New Year's Eve would at least make sense... even working on Christmas and New Year's Eve would make sense in that case), I swear.
