Fantastic cliffhanger end. Do they or don't they? And which one of them will get to Meyers first after? To reward or kill him or both? This is beautifully done. I love the mix of humor and angst and the way he is tempted into saying so much more than he should or wants to by the connection and chemistry between he and Laura. The moment when he remembers their respective positions is just devastating. The way she pushes on anyway is so brave. I like the back story for Lorne. The characterizations are spot-on as always. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.
