It's just, that I fell like am using people whenever I ask for fanfic since I can't write them myself.
Aw, don't! If I didn't want to write fic, I wouldn't post memes like that! And I really never expect anything but a review in return. All I want for is that people like it (or don't, but tell me so). That's all I want :) (but okay, next year? I won't post this meme two months before Christmas *schreibkoller)
Lorne seems more of an abstract thinking man for a Soldier, so...
Actually, being a soldier means that you have to be very good at abstract thinking ;)
Maybe it is hard for him to tell what he feels, too.
That's how I interpret him, yes. Abstract thinking yes, talking about emotions not so much. It's not that he can't phrase what he feels, rather that he learned that it's not a good thing to do so. It's perfectly normal for soldiers (why do you think the Bundeswehr still has a hard time promoting Angriff auf die Seele, their PTSD portal, among soldiers?) but not exactly a good thing. It's probably what he and Laura have in common.
Do you want him to be in her head (or the other way around) or rather talking about it in a kind of coda?
