I've always wanted to drive on the Autobahn...but I guess that won't happen since I have no plans to travel to Germany any time soon.

What is it about the Autobahn that so many people from abroad are fascinated by them? It's really just road, road, road and... more road. And I wasn't allowed to go faster than 120 km/h, anyway :P ;)

I think that it's the fact that there's no speed limit, you can go as fast/slow as you want to and plus it's mostly men who want to take their 'mid-life crisis' cars there so they can act half their age/be alpha males.
