It can't be karma. You are too good a person to deserve anything bad to happen to her, let alone this injury nightmare. I keep hoping things will get better for you. Whatever happened to the rule of threes?!? At least your enforced rest will provide lots of writing time - be it fic or maybe a novel or something to use for professional development or publishing in a journal to help with the job hunt?

Mh, I feel like I've had nothing to do for far too long now and I'd rather not be resting anymore ;) I also got off the sick leave a while ago because the insurance people were giving me not so subtle hints there might be lots of pesky paper work for me in the future if I continued for longer than four weeks or something.

The thing that really irritates me most is that the whole knee thing threw a spanner into a lot of Plan Bs (Work & Travel in Australia or New Zealand, a LEONARDO internship in France or Great Britain or even only taking up work as a barista or something) I had if I haven't found a job by the end of October. I hate it when that happens :P
