I've been trying to fulfil my Holiday Fic Request Meme (http://gelbes-gilatier.livejournal.com/275582.html) obligations but so far, I only have about five stories or something... There's only one free day left and another might become vacant again so at least 29 stories to write in all. Eeeek!

I remember that when I was little my dad was an ornithologist and he cared for two very young barn owls over the winter because they otherwise wouldn't have made it.
Anyway ... that jealous little guy with the killing glance somehow reminded me of Daddy Wells ... huh.
