Since I vaguely annonced in one of my latest story posts that I would do another "30 Days" post in the next couple of weeks and I have a spare day today and mackenziesmomma poked tentatively asked me to write one, I'm hereby doing exactly that (even though I'd rather like to write a post on how stupid the statement "There are only very few "legal" ways to stalk a person" is, seeing as rareb and I once found out real name, real address, real trained for job and real current job of a girl from that forum with only her forum nick and forum profile in a little unter 30 minutes... but I guess there will be time for that later). Yes. But first of all, all answered questions:

1. Tell us about your favorite writing project/universe that you’ve worked with and why.
2. How many characters do you have? Do you prefer males or females?
3. How do you come up with names, for characters (and for places if you’re writing about fictional places)?
4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!
5. By age, who is your youngest character? Oldest? How about “youngest” and “oldest” in terms of when you created them?
6. Where are you most comfortable writing? At what time of day? Computer or good ol’ pen and paper?
7. Do you listen to music while you write? What kind? Are there any songs you like to relate/apply to your characters?
8. What’s your favorite genre to write? To read?
9. How do you get ideas for your characters? Describe the process of creating them.

Summary: Apocafic/AU - One year later, and Laura Cadman and Evan Lorne have to learn that C4 - emotional one, in this case - lasts longer than only a few weeks.
A/N: Well. This is the last one of the "original" Pandora's Box pieces. I've written the prologue to a multi-chapter follow-up to this one, taking place... oh, wait, maybe read the story first. But I'm sure then you can also guess yourself where the next one would most probably be set. And I'd actually write it (probably as one of the million pieces I use to distract myself from the het_bigbang story *head desks)... does anyone want to read it?

Anyway, just like all Pandora's Box pieces, this is unbeated but hopefully still okay :)

A/N: Okay, so... I think I'll maybe be alternating between posting Protect and Survive, Minor Characters and Jenna's War for a couple of weeks days because I realized I really do need to catch up with the all the stuff I have up on ff.net here on LJ. BTW, for those who know PAS from ff.net, I changed a time stamp in this chapter because a while ago, mackenziesmomma made me do a timeline of all my PAS and MC stuff (that is, also the unpublished stuff... yes, there's unpublished stuff, as well...) and I realized a couple of things couldn't be right when doing the timeline of DOOM. So yeah, changed time stamp. Ahem.

A/N: OMG, I totally forgot to post this on LJ when I posted it on ff.net *head desks Anyway... this is the second challenge piece, and this time the topic was memory. Also, because I am stupid and conceited that way and didn't think it was enough, I added a challenge just from myself to me to make it my first ever Bechdel test fic. I hope I succeded in that one. And no, I didn't win this challenge either on that forum... but currently, the entire forum is out of commission... I think I got the better deal in the end. As always, the lovely and wonderful mackenziesmomma betaed this and made me add a language warning, just because Dusty talks like any regular Marine. Tsk. (but seriously, Dusty talks like a goddamn fucking Marine and she really doesn't care who hears her, so if you're delicate that way... maybe stay away from this fic... I mean it... someone on that forum actually thanked me for the language warning and proceeded not to read it... and that was a German forum). Okay. I think I'll stop talking now.

Although I'm not quite sure how much I can answer to the next question because I never really thought about that part of writing before but just did it, which is, in light of the question's content rather weird...

A/N: This is the first of to date two pieces on the team from Whispers as an answer to regular challenges on a German Stargate forum. I'll try not to comment on the way challenges are run there (but I will say that it sucks... and I also would say so on the forum but I guess they'd ban me for lèse-majesté if I did) but I'll give you the results (and no, up to now I haven't won a single one... but I'm working on it) and let you judge them. This challenge's theme was fog, BTW. Hope you like it :) Oh, and I also have decided to try and make all my future challenge pieces about the Whispers team one way or the other so yeah... it's a series. I think. Maybe.
