Author's Notes: This is the Protect and Survive pendant to the 10_ocs pieces I wrote for the Minor Characters, only they all take place somewhere after the beginning of the Protect and Survive series (i.e after Might Just Save Your Life). The first one (aka "The One Where Major Moore Is Curious, Major Lorne Is Interrogating a Lieutenant, And Lieutenant Simmons Is Talkative. Well, Kind Of.") takes place about a year after Might Just Save Your Life (so anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled about the series shouldn't read it right now) and was written because my beta mackenziesmomma pointed out to me I needed to take care a little of Simmons' private life. Also, mac will probably go to beta hell for some of the snark in her beta notes on the first story but only after I went to author hell for giving her the groundwork her snark is based on ;)

Author's Notes: Second SG-10 10_ocs piece (because I decided that the community being gone is no reason not to finish the challenge), introducing another member of SG-10 through the eyes of Major Lorne. This one takes place after Both Sides... oh, and language warning because if there's one thing Reece mastered quite well in OCS, it's the potty Marine mouth (although mackenziesmomma said she was disappointed that there wasn't more of that in here...).

Author's Notes: This one is also part of the same universe as "Need not look no more", "Make me laugh" and "Still remember which way to go" are and takes place over 20 years after "Still remember which way to go" so you might want to reread it. Also, it's my second story for LJ's 10_ocs challenge, leaving me eight stories to go. Why is it that I developed this strange affinity to challenges anyway? Must ask mackenziesmomma... as my omnicient beta, she probably knows. And here's the LDT.
