The fact that for Loki everything seems to be a joke and for Sif everything seems to be a matter of life and death.

They might all think it's Loki but in truth it might as well be Sif. Her advantage is that she might actually realize that she needs to cope.
5. The happiest plausible happily-ever-after I can think of for them.
I'm not sure if there actually will be one. If there is... it had to be away from Asgard and I'm honestly not sure if either of them could or would do that.

The small things. And enjoying very much that they know each so well. (if they're established, that is... if they're still in the courting phase... let's just say that "small" is not what I'd use to describe the things they do...)

Laura, hands down. (because she's strawberry blond and I'm too :D)

Evan always thinks he needs to protect and save her and Laura thinks she doesn't need any protecting and/or saving, thank you very much.
4. Who'd cope best if the other one died
Having explored both sides... probably Laura. She would know she had to and could go on. Evan would just build walls around himself so high and thick no one could ever bring them down again.
5. The happiest plausible happily-ever-after I can think of for them.
Seeing as I probably have been having this in my head for at least a year now... babies, most definitely and coming back to Earth and growing old together. Yes, they're that boring ;)

This was the answer I was the most looking forward to , to see if we would have the same response. I believe so too. Especially after reading the psychological aftermath of the goaul'd fiaco in POS (a little place like kokomo I think Can't remember)

Boring isin't too much to ask for after years of military in 2 galaxies , Wraith,, fraternisation issue ,Goaul'd, in-laws and McKay (ESPECIALLY McKay .And Maybe Sheppard a little :P).

Aftermath was Chasing Your Shadow (that is, the fallout for Evan... her first real fallout came in A Little Happiness). Have you ever read the Defining Moments (correct reading order in the Almighty Fic Post of DOOM (http://gelbes-gilatier.livejournal.com/113984.html))? It's PAS in its TLM version... not a happy series of one-shots, though. And there's of course I'll Carry You Home (http://gelbes-gilatier.livejournal.com/113984.html) in Fanfic100 for Laura. Even though it's explicitely friendship it's still exemplary.

Well, it is in the crossover section instead of SGA. That makes it excusable ;) (and I swear I know where I'm going with this and I have currently 21 chapters and I will finish it and there will be updates once

That is actually a tougher question than it looks like... but I'd still say Helena.

Tough one. They both have lost people before... but I'd still say rather Pete than Helena. He went through hell before but he knows that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel if you let yourself see it. Helena would just despair and show nothing of it. Until it all comes crashing down on her.

They ride off into the sunset, trading barbs and insulting each other and being insanely happy with each other, just in that tiny little moment, and damn everything that's going to come after that.

so true, although it seems to me that even with Sophie and the crew he's starting to go down that slippery slope that he seemed to head down in season one. Should be interesting to see if they go anywhere with that this season.

I can't really see them having a kid together. I think that Nate wouldn't want to have one for fear of losing the child again and have to relive his son's death and all that followed. But South of France, yes or Italy.
