Okay... I just realized I haven't posted anything in over two weeks and that was weird, to say the least (it also means that I'm lazy as hell because that's 14 chapters of various stories that I could have posted... I did post chapters like crazy but not here) so... I thought I should change that. And because I'd like to get ahead of mackenziesmomma just for once and post a "30 Days" entry before she starts nagging me... have one! (also, for everyone who's reading Protect and Survive exclusively on LiveJournal and hasn't read the parts on ff.net or ff.de yet and doesn't want to be spoiled, probably not read this because there will be lots of spoilery stuff in there)

A/N: Okay, so I've been saying for a while now that I wanted to get my Protect and Survive series over to LiveJournal (mainly, because I kind of promised it to asugar ;)), so... here we go. Originally, mackenziesmomma and I had planned to let her beta everything I'd written before she'd become my beta but a while ago, she gave me permission to publish them anyway and now I finally got my ass up to comb them through and just do it (so, you know, every mistake in this one is my own and nothing of that is mackenziesmomma's fault!). Before I'll get to the actual series, I'll give you three one-shots that led up to the multi-chaptered stories the series is comprised of. Out of Reach was written long before I started thinking about Lorne/Cadman and was meant as a stand-alone, just to get 'Sunday' out of my system, so it's basically Beckett/Cadman (or well, past Beckett/Cadman). I'm a little OCD, though, so I decided to post all stories that somehow have to do with the Protect and Survive universe.

Author's Notes: Incidentally... another Minor Characters piece, taking place before "To have and to hold" but after the last PAS story "Show the world". I chose to write it from the POV of Morsberg, Moore's German medic because, you know, I have no clue about football and he doesn't, either so that was perfect ;) Also I included a list of some colloquialisms and the translation of all the German insertions at the end. And I'd like to point out that mackenziesmomma might have been the one to force me to write this but she also saved the story by burying me under football links and a brilliant idea on how to end the story! And here's the LDT.
